Camberley is located 30 miles southwest of central London in the corridor between the M3 and M4 motorways. The office has parking and is convenient for shops and Camberley Rail Station which is 0.6 miles/ a 10 minute walk away.

 

Desk Editor

EEP is seeking an experienced desk editor to join its busy editorial team on a full-time basis. The position would also suit an editorial assistant seeking to progress. Knowledge or experience of academic and/or textbook publishing would be a bonus. The successful candidate will manage projects from manuscript to final pdf file, while liaising with editors, production and editorial staff, suppliers and freelances. You will need to be careful and methodical as well as flexible and adaptable.

Good communication and organizational skills are essential requirements, as are sound digital skills. Knowledge of some or all of the following software would be beneficial: Word, Acrobat and Filemaker.
