The ILO Future of Work series
A range of new forces is transforming the work of work. These include technological advances, climate change, demographic shifts and the need for a greener and more sustainable economy. These changes pose serious challenges yet at the same time present opportunities to promote economic security, equal opportunity and social justice. This series analyses new and emerging forms of work and examines impacts on contemporary and future workers and labour markets. Global in scope, the series focuses on developing and developed countries, and brings together leading scholars from the international research community. A major objective is to frame policy recommendations that can shape a better future of work for all.
