Economics and Management of Tourism series

Series editors: Larry Dwyer, University of New South Wales, Australia and Peter Forsyth, Monash University, Australia

The Economics and Management of Tourism series focuses on the main themes in the tourism literature that are informed by the disciplines of economics and management. It explores the implications of these concepts, theories and models in both the private and public sector. Each volume is edited by a well-known scholar who has selected those articles that make a contribution to our conceptual and/or empirical knowledge of the nexus between the economics and management disciplines as they relate to the tourism industry. While the articles have historic value as important contributions to the literature, they also provide the knowledge base for researchers to further develop the concepts and theories that underpin policy-making. The series will be an essential source of reference for both policy makers, researchers and scholars concerned with the tourism industry.
