To make it easy for instructors to quickly review an Elgar textbook we have partnered with Vitalsource to provide free electronic copies of all of our textbooks.
- Pre approved course instructors get instant access to review a book
- New users get quick access once approved by an Elgar representative (usually one working day)
- No limit on the number of Elgar books that can be requested
Find a textbook in our book store and use the link on the right to make your request.
This links to the Vitalsource site where you can ‘Read now’, or if required sign up for an account and request permission.
If you are new to Vitalsource an Elgar representative will automatically receive your request and approve, usually within one working day.

If you would like to request an inspection copy of Elgar book title that is not a traditional textbook please write to the above email address providing
- Your name, position and institution
- Course details (provide a weblink if available)
- Number of students expected to enrol
- Whether the book requested is a mandated course book or supplementary reading
